This policy explains what data Minutes of Meeting ("the app") collects, why, and how you can access or delete it. The app is published by StarShield.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address or phone number, used to sign you in and sync your notes across devices.
• Audio recordings — meeting or voice recordings you make or import in the app.
• Transcripts and summaries — text generated from your recordings, along with any notes, folders, and to-do items you create.
• Usage data — basic technical information (such as crash logs) needed to keep the app working reliably.

How we use your information

Your data is used solely to provide the app's features: transcribing and summarizing your recordings, organizing your notes, and syncing them across your devices. We do not sell your data.

Third-party processors

We use the following services to operate the app. Each processes only what's needed to provide their part of the service:

• Google Firebase — authentication, cloud storage, and database hosting for your account and notes.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — generates summaries and answers questions about your transcripts.
• AssemblyAI — transcribes your audio recordings into text.

Your audio and transcript text is sent to these processors only to perform the requested transcription/summarization, and is not used by us to train any models.

Data retention

Your notes, recordings, and account data are retained until you delete them or delete your account. You can delete individual notes at any time in the app, or delete your entire account and all associated data as described below.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (notes, recordings, transcripts, folders, and to-dos) at any time from Account → Delete account inside the app. This action is immediate and cannot be undone. See our account deletion page for details.

Permissions the app requests

• Microphone — to record voice notes and meetings.
• Notifications — to remind you about to-do deadlines you set.
• Photo library — only when you choose to attach an image to a note.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
